Letter to my Readers

Hello,

I haven’t been publishing much lately, been incredibly busy (for good reasons, new job, new baby plus one on the way, and working on a book).

But I’m looking forward to cranking out a few essays, hopefully relatively soon. I’ll be writing about:
-Artificial Intelligence as a demon (it’s not what you think, but you’ll understand what I mean when you read)
-The Philosophy of Seinfeld (I know its an aquired taste, but I LOVE Seinfeld and will mostly talk about how the show gets at the idea of The Absurd).
-A explanation of how the concept of juxtaposition works. Will analyze the music video “Stop Me” by Mark Ronson and Daniel Merriweather
-An essay on how video games promote certain ideas, emotions, etc. through their design. Will talk about the video game Final Fantasy 13 (not a big FF fan favorite, but it is one of my favorite games of all time)

If you have any ideas for things you want to get my insight and analysis on, things you think I could tackle with unique and thoughtful persepctive, write them in a note or comment. Also, send me your reading recommendations. Right now I’m reading an Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut light novel, a kind of intellectual biography of James Baldwin and the book Burnt Sugar, written by Avni Doshi.

Hope you all are in good health and in good spirits.
